HD, Mobile & Subscriptions at Viddler

Hello Viddlers! We've been hard at work since our last newsletter and we wanted to take a moment to let you know about some of the things we've released to help you get your videos online and in front of as many people as possible. Remember, if you ever have any questions - we've got a great help section full of videos and tutorials to help you use Viddler to its fullest potential. Video - Mobile, HD, and desktop formats. We believe that your videos should be viewable from just about anywhere on just about any device imaginable. We've taken a big step over the last several months to help you do just that. Our new multi-format encoder will now take whatever type of video you upload to Viddler and encode it for high-definition playback*, for playback on mobile devices, and of course for playback in our Flash players. See our help article about HD for more details on how to do this. Announcing Viddler Subscriptions! We've been asked by many of our customers how they can best make money by selling their videos online. For the last few years we've been helping our customers use a wide array of products to help them do this - which wasn't very easy to set up, to collect money from, and was expensive. But not anymore. With Viddler Subscriptions we help you set up your own video store, checkout process, and virtual theatre to let your customers purchase access to your videos. You might sharing your videos in a variety of ways and on a variety of different systems. Systems such as Wordpress, Tumblr, Expression Engine or Twitter. Or maybe you've built something specifically for your business. Each of these systems may require a slightly different embed code (or, the code that you copy to put your video somewhere on the Web). For all of this we've added many, many different options to our embed code panel. Simply go to Your Videos and click "Embed" to see them all. API Version 2 - Much improved. Are you using our API? You'll be happy to know that we've spent the last several months rewriting our API to be more stable, more efficient, much more consistent, and to have more features than ever before.
